Reminder: schedule your preventive screenings
What is preventive care?
Preventive visits are covered at 100% on all UA Choice medical plans. This means there
is no out-of-pocket costs to the employee or their covered dependents for these visits.
Preventive visits can even go beyond general wellness exams and vaccines and can include
blood pressure screenings, breast cancer and colon cancer screenings, tobacco cessation,
birth control and family planning, and more. Review Premera’s preventive screenings list to get a bigger picture.
New calendar year reminder
The new year is a perfect time to focus on your health and schedule any preventive
visits that need to be taken care of. If you have not had your annual wellness exam,
eye exam, or dentist visit during the FY26 plan year, now is the perfect time to review
your prior visits and schedule. If you need help finding in-network providers, please
