UA health plan update: Premera and Alaska Regional Hospital contract negotiations

Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska and Alaska Regional Hospital (ARH) are currently engaged in contract negotiations for a new provider agreement. If a new contract is not finalized, Alaska Regional Hospital will move to out-of-network status for Premera members starting October 1, 2026.
