The University of Alaska Human Resources team is conducting a Benefits & Compensation Survey to obtain additional feedback on the employee benefits & compensation packages.


Follow-up survey with additional questions - including compensation

This is a follow-up survey to collect additional input for our survey in November. This Benefits & Compensation Survey includes additional questions on the total rewards package including expanded questions on employee compensation, including deferred compensation. Your participation in this survey is important to us as we review our benefit offerings and plan for future years. 


Survey dates

February 13 - 27, 2026.


How to access the survey

On Friday, February 13, 2026, you received an email invitation with your anonymized unique link to the survey. The email was sent from Qualtrics (ua-benefits@qualtrics-survey.com) with the subject line, “Share your opinions about our benefits & compensation programs!” 


Survey is confidential

The survey may take up to 10 minutes to complete, and, while it is a unique link, your responses are completely confidential and no personal information or identified responses will be shared with UA HR. The survey will close on Friday, February 27, 2026. 


We encourage you to participate

If you are faculty or staff on a standard 9-month contract (working from August to May during the academic year), please know it is critical to review and respond to this survey. One of the survey questions will ask about preference for possible deferred compensation (pay spread across 12 months).
