Negotiations Home
In the fall of 2023, eligible graduate student employees voted 314-11 in favor of unionization. UA and AGWA/UAW began collective bargaining negotiations in January 2024, resulting in a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) covering graduate student employees across UA’s three universities.
The current CBA expires December 31, 2026. UA and AGWA/UAW began bargaining for a successor agreement on September 18, 2026. Negotiations are ongoing and will continue until the parties reach an agreement.
