Staff Alliance offers Fall 2024 semester fee support

The UA Staff Alliance is pleased to once again offer a class fee scholarship for UA classes taken by staff that directly support their career or professional development. The scholarship, good for the 2024 Fall Semester, is for up to $250 per employee.

There are limited funds available. After the application period closes, if there are more applicants than funds available, recipients will be randomly selected from all eligible applications. All applicants will be notified whether they have received the scholarship before the fee payment deadlines:

• UAF Friday, Sept. 6th
• UAS Friday, Sept. 6th
• UAA Monday Sept 16th

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Must be a UA STAFF member who is eligible for a tuition waiver
2. Must reasonably demonstrate that classes taken directly support career or professional development (by answering the question in the application below)

TO APPLY:

• Application period: Wednesday Aug. 7th - Wednesday Aug. 21st

1. First submit an employee tuition waiver form. You will not be considered if you don’t complete this form first!
2. Then, submit a fee scholarship request here by Wednesday, August 21st.
