Calling All SW VPN Users! Upgrade Today

The Office of Information Technology is upgrading its VPN service from AnyConnect to GlobalProtect. All SW and UAF VPN users need to download and install the new GlobalProtect VPN client on their PC, phone or tablet before December 31, 2020. The upgraded VPN service creates increased bandwidth for users, makes specialized VPN access more efficient, and uses the University's current firewall solution, thus reducing overall costs.

Claim your GlobalProtect VPN account for your PC at https://vpn.alaska.edu, and follow installer prompts, including entering the portal address gateway/vpn server, vpn.alaska.edu.
