IGNITE is an annual professional development workshop that brings together University of Alaska faculty, staff, and students for two days of inspiring and instructive presentations, keynote speakers, and discussion sessions.

Science Olympiad

Alaska EPSCoR organizes the Alaska statewide Science Olympiad with the College of Engineering and Mines and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Teams of middle school students compete in hands-on science, STEM challenges. Winning teams travel to compete at the national level.
