UA Foundation welcomes Kandace Welch

Gift Manager, UA Foundation

Kandace Welch has joined the UA Foundation as a Gift Manager with Fund and Gift Services. She is located in Fairbanks, and helps to coordinate gift processing for all university gifts donated locally. Prior to joining the UA Foundation, Welch worked at the Center for Excellence in Higher Education for 15 years.

Welch was born in Missoula, Montana but moved to Washington and then Alaska as a child.  She has lived in Fairbanks off and on since 1990. Welch received her Bachelors of Arts in History with a minor in business administration from Brigham Young University in 2007, and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at UAF.

Welch has 5 daughters all with diverse interests, so they do lots of fun family activities ranging from movie and game nights, to soccer and local theater productions.
