The office of Auditing and Consulting Services welcomes Chris Maguigan!

Chris began in the position of internal auditor 1 on October 10. In this role he will evaluate university records and make recommendations concerning activities reviewed. He will also promote effective reporting of operational activities with the goal of compliance and safeguarding assets.
Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Virginia Tech and an MBA from The University of Tennessee where he worked as an accounting specialist. He also worked as a staff accountant for The Foraker Group.
Originally from Harrisonburg, VA, Chris, his wife Lindsey, an attorney, and their 6 year old son, Toby, relocated to Alaska in January 2022 from Morristown, TN.
“We are astounded by the natural beauty of Alaska. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and golfing and pass the time by hanging out with my family and reading,” Chris said.
