The TASK grant has largely wrapped up work after a year of visits and workshops between
our partner groups in Hawai'i and Alaska. Students and teachers have traveled to either
state to learn more about the flora, fauna and culture of each location. See photos
and read more on the TASK website.
Summer 2023 we expect Hawai'i students will be traveling to Nome, and we look forward
to their visit.
The teacher-developed curriculum is now available on the website as well.

The 2022-23 Mentors met for training in August and have been working with new teachers
across the state.
ASMP learned that a previous mentee has been named the 2022-23 Teacher of the Year
for Alaska.
