Policy Requirement

As per Board of Regents' Policy P05.11.060.A, all requests to access or use real property not owned by the University of Alaska must be submitted through the UA Land Management Office.

To begin the process of obtaining a land use authorization on land not owned by the University of Alaska, complete the form below.  The information provided in the form will facilitate the land use authorization process and be used for informational and tracking purposes. 

UAF Internal Approval Required

All UAF requests require internal UAF approval for the use request to proceed.

Processing Timeline

Processing times are subject to the landowner’s review and authorization process. Depending on the complexity of the authorization required and the number of landowners involved, it may take 180 days or longer to process the land use authorization(s). Please plan accordingly and submit your completed request to allow sufficient time for processing your land use authorization(s).
