Our spotlight this month brings together two LinkedIn Learning collections. Each are focused on a distinct set of professional skills that support success at work.
First, the Networking and Fostering Connections collection centers on building and leveraging connections, developing meaningful relationships, crafting effective elevator pitches, and practicing business etiquette to navigate professional interactions with confidence. Then the Productivity and Time Management collection offers practical strategies for prioritization, effective note taking, motivation, overcoming procrastination, and using digital tools to stay organized and focused in a busy environment. Together, the collections address both the day-to-day demands of getting work done and the long-term value of building strong professional networks.
The two collections complement one another, with time management skills serving as a foundation for effective networking. By learning how to manage time more intentionally, streamline tasks, and focus on high-impact work, participants can create space in their schedules for relationship-building activities. This makes networking more achievable and sustainable; allowing employees to follow up with contacts, attend events, and engage in meaningful conversations, so productivity and professional connections can grow in tandem rather than competing for time.
