"I know from research and experience that the teacher makes the difference in the classroom and that is a responsibility I have taken very personally as an educator. I believe that genuine caring relationships are essential for engaging students in learning. Creating safe learning environments of dignity and respect are non-negotiable. I am honored to be part of the ASMP, supporting new teachers in effective practices that will better meet the needs of children."
