Meeting Schedule and Activities

Times for standing committee and full board meetings are subject to reordering by the Board within the September 25-27, 1996 timeframe.

Wednesday, September 25, 1996

1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Board of Regents will meet in the Regents' Conference Room, Butrovich Building, in a joint session with the UA Foundation to discuss issues of concern to the University of Alaska.

4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The Board of Regents will hold an informal retreat in the Sherman Carter Conference Room, Butrovich Building. A recess will be called at 6:00 p.m.

6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A dinner will be held at the home of Jerome and Natalie Komisar for the Board of Regents, UA Foundation and invited guests.

Thursday, September 26, 1996

8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The Board of Regents will continue its informal retreat in the Sherman Carter Conference Room, Butrovich Building.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The Academic & Student Affairs Committee will meet in the RegentsU Conference Room, Butrovich Building.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The Finance, Facilities and Land Management Committee will meet in the Sherman Carter Conference Room, Butrovich Building.

12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. The Human Resources Committee will meet in the Regents' Conference Room, Butrovich Building. Lunch will be served for Board members and participating staff.

2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Committee of the Whole will meet in the Regents' Conference Room, Butrovich Building.

6:00 p.m. Joan and Dick Wadlow will host a dinner for the Board of Regents and invited guests at the ChancellorUs Residence, 610 Kobuk.

Friday, September 27, 1996

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Full Board will meet in the RegentsU Conference Room, Butrovich Building. The Board of Regents will hear public comment at 8:00 a.m. An Executive Session will start at 12:00 noon and is expected to last 2 hours.
