Johnson has worked in development for over 18 years. She was executive director of
the Kenai Peninsula United Way and campaign manager for the successful $4 million
Kenai Peninsula Borough capital campaign. Johnson has also worked in educational development
at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the University of Alaska Foundation. Johnson
and her family moved from Kenai to Juneau in 1998. In her position she reports directly
to the chancellor.
