    The 2024 State of the University Address was held on March 11, 2024 during the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce weekly luncheon. President Pitney provided an update on the important role of the University of Alaska system in the state's economic recovery and in building Alaska's workforce; the contributions of UA's world-class research; and highlighted excellence across the university system.

    UAF Facilities Services will be conducting a planned maintenance power shutdown in the Butrovich Building to integrate a maintenance bypass switch for the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for the Butrovich Data Center (BDC). This planned maintenance shutdown will mean that many UA data systems served out of the BDC will be unavailable during the following timeframes...
