Join faculty and staff across the University of Alaska system committed to advancing
student success inside and outside the classroom.
Learn from national experts and colleagues regarding: 1) faculty engagement in student success; 2) resilience and persistence; 3) Student leaders engaged on campus. Participate in breakout sessions (led by UA faculty and staff) addressing the role that pandemic recovery, resilience, and persistence play on our campuses. Join us to hear and learn from colleagues at each of our Universities on how they are helping students succeed.
We would like to invite you to consider participating and presenting in the next Student Success Convening! You are welcome to propose any type of session, but note that the most successful sessions allow participants to engage with you or participants in Q&A or discussion, with each other in conversation, and provide attendees with concrete or actionable ideas at the end of the session.
We encourage you to submit your session proposal by May 15, 2023.
Feel free to peruse 2021’s Student Success Convening for ideas. The website has all the agenda and all the sessions up from the previous Student Success Convening. *** This information will be updated with the new Convening sessions closer to fall 2023.
