An update on the University of Alaska Anchorage chancellor search
The UAA Chancellor Selection Committee recently shared the attributes under consideration for selecting the next UAA Chancellor. The attributes and other information can be found at https://www.alaska.edu/pres/uaa-chancellor/index.php.
Members of the UAA community were asked to provide feedback on this list via a feedback form that closed on Feb. 17.
The committee plans to post the final prospectus on the web page next week. The UAA chancellor search website will be regularly updated with more information.
President Pitney intends to name a Chancellor for the University of Alaska Anchorage by the end of April 2021. That appointment will be made in consultation with the UA Board of Regents and in accordance with UA policies, procedures, and regulations.
