New Employee Assistance Program provider beginning July 1

It was announced during Open Enrollment that the university would be switching Employee Assistance Program providers from Deer Oaks to ComPsych/Vivacity.

Effective July 1, UA employees will need to contact ComPsych for any EAP needs. ComPsych brings along the same suite of services which include emotional support for mental health concerns, work-life solutions, legal guidance, financial resources, online support, and a designated platform for UA employees to explore interactive behavioral health tools and resources.

The Employee Transitions and Benefits team will be sending out additional information via email over the next two weeks to educate employees on how to use ComPsych’s services and what to expect from them as UA’s Employee Assistance Program provider. Contact information and website logins will be shared on July 1 when the program is officially active.

If you have questions about the transition please reach out to Employee Benefits and Transitions directly at ua-benefits@alaska.edu
