Deadline: FY26 Performance Reviews: Let's Cross the Finish Line!
Performance reviews aren't just another task on the to-do list. They are an opportunity to celebrate successes, discuss goals, and ensure employees have the support needed to thrive. These conversations help connect individual contributions to departmental priorities and the University of Alaska's mission.
The FY26 staff performance review process was expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, and all finalized reviews, including required supervisor signatures, must be uploaded into the system by September 30, 2026.
Where We Stand
UA's goal is for 100% of staff members to receive an annual performance review. While we've made progress, we're currently at 41% completion across all required FY26 performance reviews. That means there's still work to do!
Supervisors: Your Team Is Counting on You
Supervisors play a key role in ensuring evaluations are completed for all team members. Timely reviews support employee development, strengthen performance management efforts, and help keep the entire university system aligned and moving forward together.
Check Your Status
Performance reviews can be completed in one of two ways: through the preferred online system or by using a paper form. If you and your supervisor opted for the paper version, please reach out to them directly for an update on its progress. If you're completing your review online, use the steps below to quickly check where your FY26 Performance Review stands.
- Log in to MyUA.
- Select the Employee Services Dashboard (blue box).
- Find the green My Performance Reviews section on the left side of the screen.
- Look for Current Step: under the review name (for example, FY26 Supervisor Performance Review).
Completing performance reviews on time helps recognize great work, supports meaningful growth conversations, and ensures consistent performance management across UA.
