Gwendolyn Gruenig was appointed head of the institutional research function for the university system in 2005. Prior to joining the system office in 2000, she held positions at University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Institute of Northern Engineering, Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, and Planning Analysis & Institutional Research. She is a former UAF adjunct statistics faculty and owner/principal of a private consulting practice providing scientific and operational research and data management services.  Her education includes an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in statistics.

Colleen joined UA Data Analysis & Institutional Research in December 2022. She is a current graduate student in the UAS MPA program.  Colleen has worked for the University of Alaska in some aspect since starting her undergrad studies in 2009.

Kevin Swenson joined UA Data Analysis & Institutional Research in August 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the UAF in May 2022. Prior to joining the team, he was the general manager of KSUA student radio.
