Title IX: Sex and Gender Based Discrimination Prevention Training
Newly updated UA Safe student and employee training opens for the new academic year
This year UA will launch a combined training for employees, students, and university volunteers.
What you need to know:
- Mandatory Title IX Training “UA Safe” will be accessible through Blackboard for Fall 2021.
- UA Safe Title IX Training will open in August 2021 and the completion deadline is October 31, 2021.
Training was updated to reflect new university policies resulting from new changes in Federal Title IX guidelines and adapted to meet both employee and student training needs.
This Title IX training course will cover sensitive issues. If you have questions or would like to request to be released from this course please contact your Title IX/Equity and Compliance Office.
Students** are required to complete Title IX Training annually. Training cycles typically run July 1 - June 30.
The deadline for Fall 2021 training is October 31, 2021. Click here to log in and access the training. (Available for Fall 2021 in August)
**degree seeking, living in campus housing, middle college students enrolled at the university, or students on national/international exchange who have not completed the training since July 1, 2020
Employees and volunteers are required to complete Title IX annual training. Training cycles typically run July 1 - June 30.
UA Safe Title IX training for students, employees and volunteers will be available this August. The deadline for Fall 2021 training is October 31, 2021. New employees are expected to complete the training within 30 days of hire.
