2023 (In person)

The inaugural, 2023 symposium Voice! Acknowledgement! Power! Victims’ Rights & Restorative Justice Symposium was held in person in Anchorage, AK from April 27-29, 2023.

This symposium was hosted in partnership with Alaska’s Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (CDVSA). The series of events were designed to educate and empower Alaska’s current and future leaders in the victim service, advocacy, and support fields to use restorative justice practices to give voice, acknowledgment, power, and justice to those impacted by crime. Local expert panelists were joined by keynote speaker sujatha baliga, a former victim advocate and an internationally recognized leader in the field of restorative justice.
