Internet in the Residence Halls
Internet use in the residence halls is under the policy of the Residence Life Handbook (see pages 23-24), as well as all NTS Policies and Procedures. To use internet services in the residence halls, ensure your computer is set to use DHCP, and follow the on-screen steps to register your computer using your UA Username and password.
Personal media device or gaming consoles
Step 1: Please connect your personal media device or gaming consoles into the port provided to you in your room with an ethernet cable. Please note that, while you device may have wireless capabilities, only wired connections are supported on University Network.
Step 2: Visit the Media Device Registration page and follow the link from there to the UAF Devices Portal.
