Site visitors can learn about the three successful 529 plans that the Trust manages: Alaska 529, marketed to Alaskans, T. Rowe Price 529, marketed nationally, and the John Hancock Freedom 529 sold nationally through financial advisors. The website aims to make it easy for participants to learn about the incredible opportunities that the University of Alaska offers.
The Education Trust of Alaska was formed by the University of Alaska with a goal of helping residents prepare for education expenses. The trust holds over $9 billion in assets for 300,000 beneficiaries in Alaska and across the United States.
