Upcoming February Board of Regents meetings

The University of Alaska (UA) Board of Regents (BOR) will meet next week at UAF’s Bristol Bay campus in Dillingham as part of its regular rotation of meetings held across UA campuses.

Because the meetings are being held in Dillingham, the schedule includes several adjustments to accommodate travel and access. Committee meetings on Tuesday will be held via Zoom. Committee meetings on Wednesday, along with full board meetings on Thursday and Friday, will take place in Dillingham. The schedule is extended across the week to allow for travel.

Public attendance in Dillingham will be limited. Viewers are encouraged to use the livestream to follow the meetings.

The full board agenda includes a UAF Deep Dive featuring research and the UAF Bristol Bay Campus student experience, governance and chancellor reports, presentations on the Roadmap to Empower Alaska and process improvement highlights, approval of the FY26 supplemental budget and an update on the FY27 budget requests. Regents will also consider a resolution of appreciation for Ronalda Cadiente-Brown and hear updates from the committees.

Monday, Feb. 16
Public testimony: 4 to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 17
Audit and Finance Committee meeting (via Zoom): 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Facilities and Land Management Committee meeting (via Zoom): 3:30 to 5 p.m.*

Wednesday, Feb. 18
Academic and Student Affairs Committee meeting (Dillingham): 3 to 5 p.m.*
Start time is tentative and dependent on flight arrivals in Dillingham.

Thursday, Feb. 19
Full board meeting (Dillingham): 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 20
Continued full board meeting (Dillingham): 8 to 11:30 a.m.

*Time is approximate; meetings will begin at the conclusion of the preceding meeting.
