Legacy video conferencing platforms will be retired in January

This spring semester all video conferencing courses and administrative meetings will need to be conducted over Zoom. The Video Conferencing Services legacy infrastructure will be retired by Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.

While the majority of courses and meetings were conducted over Zoom during the fall semester, some UA faculty and staff continued to use the legacy video conferencing system. That option will no longer be available.

If you have not already done so, please claim your Zoom account by logging in at alaska.zoom.us, and then follow these instructions:

  1. Select “Sign in - Configure your account”
  2. Using your UA credentials, sign into UA SSO

If you do not currently have a Zoom account, this action will create one for you.  If you already have a Zoom account separate from the UA instance, this will prompt you to merge your account into the UA instance.
