Google Groups

Users interested in compiling a mass mailing list can use the following applications:

• UA Google Groups are for most mass mailing needs, in addition to Google Workspace features of emailing the group, scheduling calendar events, and sharing documents. Users may request a Google Group above, under Make a Request.
• Public Google Groups- Similar to UA Google Groups, but for UA affiliates or guests (non-UA users).
• Other Group Mailing Options

• • UA Blackboard Learn - Students can use this option for class communications, depending on the situation. UA departments can also use the courses/organizations within Blackboard.
  • Rave - To find out about mailing lists through Rave contact the Office of Public Affairs via email at ua-outreach@alaska.edu.
