2024 State of the University Address -March 11, 2024

The 2024 State of the University Address will be held on March 11, 2024 during the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce weekly luncheon.  President Pitney’s address will provide an update on the important role the University of Alaska system has in the state’s economic recovery and in building Alaska’s workforce; the contributions of UA’s world-class research; and highlight excellence across the university system.

The "Make it Monday" Anchorage Chamber forum starts at noon. The State of the University Address by President Pitney will start approximately 12:15 p.m.

2023 State of the University Address

The 2023 State of the University Address was held February 21, 2023.
President Pitney made the annual address during the Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce weekly luncheon. It was livestreamed and recorded for the UA community. 

President Pitney provided an update on the important role the University of Alaska system has in the state’s economic recovery and in building Alaska’s workforce; the contributions of UA’s world-class research; and highlighted excellence across the university system. 2022 State of the University Address

The State of the University Address was delivered by University of Alaska President Pat Pitney on March 3, 2022.
