TRAVEL FUNDING

INBRE Travel Funding Opportunities Available

September - Fall near Fairbanks, Alaska arrives early compared to the lower 48 states

Faculty:  University of Alaska Faculty members that are supported by INBRE funding are eligible for financial support for related travel to visit their research mentors and to have their mentors visit their labs.  Other funding may be authorized by the INBRE program director as appropriate.

Students:  University of Alaska undergraduate and graduate level students, sponsored by an INBRE supported faculty member may apply for travel funds to attend appropriately related scientific meetings and workshops.

Funding for Scientific Exchange

INBRE supports collaboration for many types of Scientific Exchange opportunities.  Faculty, staff and students are welcome to apply for funding to bring speakers to Alaska for Scientific Exchange opportunities. Please complete the form, and fax, scan/email or drop off to INBRE at 202 West Ridge Research Building, PO Box 757040, Fairbanks, AK 99775. 

Please complete and submit the form at least 4 weeks in advance of the expected date.  Upon approval, INBRE will need to be in contact with the speaker/visitor.  Please let your speaker know that Cathy, Carol or Fredha will be contacting them for information and materials.
