Tamera (Tammi) Weaver was appointed Chief Treasury Officer for the University of Alaska System in 2017. She has responsibility for the 3 college savings plans offered by the Education Trust of Alaska with assets in excess of $8 billion, as well as the UA Scholars Program and UA Treasury Management.
Weaver grew up in Fairbanks, attending local schools and graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.B.A. in Accounting. After graduation, she became a licensed CPA and worked with a CPA firm in Fairbanks for 8 years. In 1993, she accepted the position of Cash & Investment Manager at the University of Alaska. In 2006, she was appointed Chief Investment Officer for the University and the University of Alaska Foundation where she was responsible for the University Cash Management Program, the UA Foundation Accounting Operations and the UA Foundation’s Investment Program including the $300 million Consolidated Endowment Fund.
