Master’s Degree
M.Ed. in Education with a concentration in Secondary Education
The master's degree program in secondary education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is designed for people seeking first-time teacher licensure. Combined with the postbaccalaureate licensure program, up to 26 credits of the UAF secondary licensure program can be applied toward the master’s degree in secondary education.
Available via distance delivery or with face to face components in Anchorage or Fairbanks. Fieldwork options available across Alaska.

Intensive 11-month MAT program (Flexible pacing available). Online courses, including four courses in the summer. Students should have an undergraduate major in a subject taught in Alaska schools.
Available via distance delivery. One-year internship in local community.
