Earn Credits with Outdoor Adventures
Outdoor Adventures offers a number of academic and recreational courses throughout the year. These courses are a great way to develop your wilderness leadership skills and expand your resume from "experience in..." to "professionally trained in..." The recreational courses allow you to learn a new sport, experience some new locations in Alaska and gain the experience to feel confident doing these sports on your own in the future. Outdoor Adventure will be hosting a PCIA Top and Base Managed Climbing Instructor Course modules and exams. More information of the PCIA and these courses can be found at http://pcia.us/pro. This is seldom seen opportunity in Fairbanks. This is a way for climbers to get a recognized certification to legitimize their climbing resume.
