Wood Center
Wood Center functions as a campus center to enhance personal development by providing diverse programs and services which complement and contribute to the University of Alaska Fairbanks community.
Student Activities
It is the mission of the Student Activities Office to offer programs and services that balance the diverse educational, recreational, cultural, and social needs of the University of Alaska Fairbanks community and its visitors.
UAF Leadership Program
The mission of the UAF Leadership Program is to cultivate effective leaders for Alaska by creating and supporting a rich variety of student leadership development opportunities, partnering with academic departments and the community, and recognizing successful student leadership.
Outdoor Adventures
It is the mission of Wood Center Outdoor Adventures to promote and enable UAF students and affiliates to safely explore, discover, and understand the timeless beauty of wild Alaska.
The Pub
The mission of the Wood Center Pub is to offer the over 21 University community an informal, friendly, and safe atmosphere where students, faculty, staff, and alumni are able to socialize outside the classroom. It is also a venue for creative expression and informative presentations for the entire community.
Orientation
Orientation is designed to welcome and introduce all entering students and their families to the University. It helps new students make the transition from their previous environment to the diverse academic, intellectual, and social culture of the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
