Congratulations on a MBA Kris Larson!

Kris Larson, financial accountant for fund accounting, received a Masters Business Administration in Capital Markets from the University of Alaska Fairbanks this May. Larson began at Statewide as a student employee for Financial Systems. He joined Internal audit in June 2014 after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UAF. In March he transfered over to fund accounting while finishing his masters program. He plans to pursue a CPA this year. Congratulations, and keep up the great work!

Audit and Consulting Services Welcomes Camille Carpenter

Camille Carpenter is an associate auditor with the Statewide Office of Audit and Consulting Services. She assists in internal audits of, or consulting engagements for, departments and functions within the UA System.

In the past 5-10 years, Carpenter has worked in public accounting, the private sector and a non-profit organization.

Carpenter was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She spent most of her adult life in Texas.�She went to college at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX where she received a BBA, Major in Accounting. She came to Alaska in December of 2015. Carpenter is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. She is currently working on getting licensed in Alaska.

Carpenter has a husband and three grown children. Their youngest child is currently attending UAF. They love the beauty of Alaska and are looking forward to fishing, hiking and driving around the state this summer.
