SPRING SOCIAL SKI for Females of ALL Ages! Costumes Encouraged--Door Prizes & Silent Auction FREE Kick waxing 11:00-12:00 for classic skis.

Distance - choose up to 5K non-timed. Post ski potluck - bring a dish to share.

Pre-Register at Beaver Sports, Goldstream Sports, or Raven Cross- Country. All pre-registered receive 1 bonus ticket for skis donated by Raven Cross-Country.

Dance Team Annual Auction

The LHS Ballroom Dance Team is having their annual auction and show on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th at the Hering Auditorium. There is an evening show both nights at 7:30pm and a matinee on Saturday starting at 2:30pm. The silent auction starts at 6:30pm on Saturday. Heart Walk Team

Paula S. Aspell, Senior Executive Producer of NOVA visiting UAF

The Honors Program and URSA are sponsoring a visit from Paula Aspell, senior executive producer, NOVA and NOVA scienceNOW, and director of the WGBH Science Unit.

Paula will be speaking to the UAF and Fairbanks community on Wednesday, April 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium, Bunnell Building. This event is free and open to the public. Her talk is entitled “The Art of Science and Television.” A meet and greet is scheduled after the public lecture and refreshments will be served.

During her visit to the UAF campus, she will be giving a more intimate talk on “Controversy in Science” for the campus community. This talk will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Honors House, 520 Copper Ln. Students, faculty and staff members are encouraged to attend.
