Anchorage Annual City Garden Tour – Anchorage
See the various gardens that the Anchorage Garden Club (AGC) have selected for the public to view on this year's annual city garden tour. Please no high heels, strollers or animals, and be respectful of the gardens and the neighborhoods. The gardens will be listed in the Anchorage Daily News and on the AGC website.

The Anchorage Garden Club invites entries in horticulture and floral design for the 68th annual flower show "Mystical Garden Creatures." Entries will be accepted Aug. 6, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Alaska Botanical Garden.

Dancing With the Fairbanks Stars – Fairbanks
Tanana Valley State Fair, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Our own Erika Van Flein, Director of Benefits, will be a competitor in "Dancing With the Fairbanks Stars" that will be held at the Tanana Valley State Fair in the big white tent on Friday, Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Please come and show your support by donating to the Lathrop High School Ballroom Dance Team. Each dollar donated on her behalf is worth a point to win the competition.

Blueberry picking and eating is encouraged; find your own secret stash.
