Student and Enrollment Services
As administrative generalist, Michael Parker supports the Student and Enrollment Services Department in a variety of ways.
He previously worked as an eligibility technician for the State of Alaska's Division of Public Assistance. Prior to that, he was a Jesuit Volunteer in Bethel. Although born in Anchorage, Parker grew up mostly in Spokane, Wash. He moved back to Alaska about 2 1/2 years ago (finally)!
Parker attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, where he received a bachelor's degree in finance.
As an aspiring dog musher, Parker considers his dogs family. They are London, Ringlet, Snowden, Scrappy, Lefty, Benny and Joon. Stop by and say hello to our new admin in Student Services!
Charles Melvin Tidwell II
Michelle and Ryan Tidwell, accountants for the UA Foundation, are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Charles Melvin Tidwell II. He arrived Oct. 27 at 6 pounds, 12 ounces. He was 20 inches long. Baby and family are all doing well-- if not a little tired.
Congratulations Michelle and Ryan, and happy birthday little Charles!
Send us your employee news!
The Transitions section is one of the most popular aspects of the Statewide Voice, allowing everyone an opportunity to meet new employees. However, we cannot publish information without your help. Please contact us with the name of any new employees or position changes in your department to see them listed in this section.
