Aloha party for Janet Johnson

Janet's career here at the University of Alaska began in 1974.  Since that time, Janet has become a leading expert on our administrative computing system, a.k.a Banner.  Her hard-work and dedication has not gone unnoticed in her 35 years of service.  She has repeatedly been recognized by her peers as an outstanding employee (1987, 2000, 2009).  She was also the recipient of 2002's Make Students Count award. Janet's knowledge and leadership of the Banner Coordinating Team has ensured careful coordination of countless upgrades, new integrations, and other Banner-related projects.

Janet will continue to work part-time for OIT after her retirement, but she is also looking forward to spending more time in Hawaii.  She will be greatly missed by her colleagues both in and outside of OIT.
