Use payroll deduction to help grow your college savings account
To make saving for college as convenient as possible, the university offers payroll deduction as a contribution method for accounts in the UA College Savings Plan. Payroll deduction is a great way to help new or existing participants grow their accounts.
The UA College Savings Plan, managed by T. Rowe Price, is a tax-advantaged way to save for future college expenses and Accounts in the Plan may be used at UA or any other eligible school nationwide. You can use your account in conjunction with the UA employee tuition waiver to cover expenses such as room, board, books and fees. Accounts also lock in resident tuition rates at UA,* even if you relocate out of state.
For information on setting up an account or contributing through payroll deduction, visit http://www.alaska.edu/collegesavings or call (907) 474-5671.
