Fairbanks Campus

Description: 1797 Chatanika Drive

Walsh Hall, completed in 1959, is located east of the Fire Department and south of Chatanika Drive. It was the last of five residence halls built for married students who do not have children, and it contains 12 furnished apartments. Renovations completed in 2006 included new tile, carpet, appliances, plumbing, doors, cabinetry and light fixtures. All of the egress windows were replaced in summer 2008. Currently Walsh Hall is used by employees and married or financially interdependent students without children.
