Vendors: Some information you may want to know… Unloading / LoadingDon’t get a ticket! We have set up two unloading/loading areas: behind the Salisbury Theater (just off Tanana Drive, in the rear of the Fine Arts Complex, a garage door with a Nanook bear painted on it) and in the rear of the Davis Concert Hall (just off Tanana Drive & Yukon Drive, enter into the parking lot). All areas are marked with signs. Assistance with unloading/loading your merchandise is provided free of charge by the Festival of Native Arts volunteers. To receive assistance with your unloading must arrange times ahead with Graehl Brooks, Vendor Table Coordinator, at 474-7181 or fngdb@uaf.edu. For loading assistance, check with the Festival of Native Arts information table if there are any available volunteers to assist you. ElectricityIf you have not purchased the use of an electrical outlet please do not use it. You can purchase the use of an extension cord and surge protector from the information table only if your table is along the wall for $5.00 per night. No table in the middle of the Great Hall is allowed to use an extension cord; it is deemed a hazard and is against the State of Alaska Fire Code. BreaksAs a courtesy, any time during the festival you can ask for a volunteer to sit at your table (make sure the volunteer has on a yellow “STAFF” t-shirt). We do ask that the break is no longer than 5 minutes. Food SalesAbsolutely under no circumstances are you allowed to sell food during this event. Even if you have a DEC Temporary Food Permit to sell food in the Great Hall is not food allowed in the building other than in the vending machine area. Please assist us with enforcing this policy. Security Escort Service, Vehicle Unlocks, and Vehicle Jumpstarts, call UAF Dispatch at 474-7721. |
