Geological engineers study rocks, soils, and groundwater to develop and plan for conditions that affect structures such as, mines, pipelines, buildings, tunnels, and dams. Geological engineers work with the earth to blend construction and nature in such a way that society's needs can be met with minimum impact on the environment.
Undergraduate students entering the Geological engineering program will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological engineering and may continue to pursue a Masters degree.
