Expertise and Research:

Dr. Sheng's areas of expertise are in dynamics, acoustics and tribology applied in automotive systems, data storage systems, and mechanical/structural systems in arctic region.

Dr. Sheng's research interests include:

  • Dynamics, acoustics & tribology
  • Acoustics applied in automotive systems
  • Dynamics & tribology applied in data storage and automotive systems
  • Mechtronics condition monitoring and diagnosis
  • Dynamics and acoustics applied in the energy systems, infrastructures and environments in cold regions.
