Microgravity Video
February 2008 - The Alaska Microgravity Team was recently selected to participate in the 2008 Flight Campaign of NASA’s Reduced Gravity Student Flight Program. This is a team comprised of University of Alaska Fairbanks electrical and mechanical engineering students. The team will test the stability of small satellite attitude control systems (ACS). This will be accomplished by designing and constructing two control systems, one mechanical and one electromagnetic, then the students will evaluate the stability and accuracy of the systems in zero gravity.

The team has recently released a student video showing their latest experiences on this mission. To see this video, or find out more on the Alaska Microgravity Team, please visit their site here.
