Mechanical Engineering student, Michael Golub (Advisor: Dr. Jing Zhang), received the 2008 Global Change Student Grant Competition Award from the Center for Global Change and Arctic System Research, International Arctic Research Center and the Cooperative Institute for Alaska Research. With the $5000 grant, Golub will study electric vehicle utilization effect on carbon dioxide emissions.
