Zhang Receives 2008 Alaska EPSCoR Early Career Award

Dr. Jing Zhang, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering received the 2008 Alaska EPSCoR Early Career Award.

Alaska EPSCoR will provide $30,000 research funding to Dr. Zhang to perform a multi-scale simulation study of crack formations in active layers.

Alaska EPSCoR program is a partnership with the National Science Foundation. EPSCoR aims to enhance science and technology infrastructure - in education, in the private sector, and in related government programs.
