Laura Brosius is a master's student investigating how differing physical
and biological characteristics of lakes influence methane bubbling. She
received her BS in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan,
where her interest in limnology was fostered by two years of experience
working in the laboratory of George Kling.
She was drawn to Alaska after
spending a summer at Toolik Field Station as a research assistant on Kling's
project. Laura loves running, biking, hiking and being outdoors, as well
as travel, music, drawing, going to orchards and eating food.
