Ph.D. in Engineering and Interdisciplinary Ph.D.

UAF offers a Ph.D. in Engineering. This doctoral degree program draws on the combined strength of geological engineering and other engineering disciplines at the College of Engineering and Mines. UAF also offers an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. that is available for students pursuing engineering-related research. The UAF Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program provides flexibility to students who have well-defined goals that do not fit into one of the established majors offered by the university.
