RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Infrastructure Materials - engineering characterization of asphalt cement, hot-mix asphalt mixtures (HMA), granular and stabilized bases, Portland cement concrete, and sustainable multifunctional composites.
  • Pavement Engineering - pavement design and testing, pavement repair and rehabilitation, non-destructive testing, and pavement management system (PMS).
  • Fracture Mechanics and Numerical Modeling - constitutive modeling and numerical simulation to characterize and predict material behaviors.
